Ambulatory Care

The Miosotis Ambulatory Care program is primarily aimed at promoting the quality of life of citizens with chronic diseases.

It focuses on the monitoring of biometric parameters, with the aim of:

  • Promoting independent living;

  • Facilitating access to healthcare;

  • Reducing the risk associated with chronic illness.

The IT platform we use is based on and integrated with the basic platform of the Miosotis HC (Health Care) program, particularly in the Clinical Decision Support and Virtual Hospital areas.

It will make it possible to collect the results of biometric parameters produced by various medical devices, integrate them, and analyze their evolution, issuing alerts in the event of deviations that indicate a worsening of the disease.

With integration into the Miosotis VHC (Virtual Health Care) program, Miosotis Ambulatory Care is expected to:

  • Promote of independent living through: telemonitoring of chronic disease progression from any location; early intervention in the event of signs of deterioration of the chronic disease; remote provision of health care; improved communication between users and health professionals;

  • Improve the health and well-being of citizens by: monitoring disease progression; integrating and analyzing monitored parameters using artificial intelligence tools to optimize therapeutic resources;

  • Increase the effectiveness of the provision of information to health professionals about users and patients, through: real-time access to the results of monitoring biometric parameters; monitoring of falls, geolocation and automated insertion of therapeutic, consultation and ECD records, etc.
